Learn to do the Split the Atom yo-yo trick with a video and written description.

One of the tougher tricks is Splitting the Atom. Start with a fast sleeper. With your free hand pointer finger, push into the string from behind - like a Skin the Cat! Remember to have your free hand at about eye-height and your yo hand about chest height. Hold out your right hand pointer and let the yoyo swing over and mount onto the string. You have just accomplished the Split Bottom Entry. With your free hand, pass your pointer finger forward, under, and in back of the yoyo, touching the doubled strings. With your right hand, pull the doubled strings back, under, and in front of the yoyo (this movement is otherwise known as a Barrel Roll). Finish by pushing into the strings closest to you with your right hand, causing the yoyo to flip over in a circular motion (a.k.a. Brain Twister). To dismount, pass your free hand under the yoyo, causing the yoyo to come up off the string in a circular movement, then catch it.
